Joel's 1st Birthday- New Year's Day

It was a very special day. After a huge New Year's Eve party , in bed at 2.30 Joel woke up ready to celebrate at 4.00am. After getting him back to sleep and then at a reasonable hour we woke and started his special day.
It was a lovely day and family joined us for a birthday lunch in the Hut. A lovely spread that Rod prepared and served us all. Starters of garlic prawns,pizza,tapas of spring rolls, dim sims, meatballs and samosas. Joel's cake was finished and decorated by Brianna and mum. It was a number 1 covered in smarties.Bri was very proud to show Joel. She helped him blow out his candles. Joel had his first taste of cake and boy did he love it. Just look at his face.
Pop and Gran, Tim, Rach, Zach & Grace, Ma Ma and Papa, and all our family enjoyed a special taste of his cake too and a lovely time.

Our Family Christmas 2008

It was a very busy time as we have just finished our backyard complete with pool, spa and entertainment Bali Hut. all parties and gatherings were at The Hut. We had a very special First Christmas with our gorgeous little Joel, even though he did not really know the difference of the present to the paper.

The Dawson's Year

Wow! What a year. Our family is now complete.
